Earlier this year, Richard Harding Construction announced our sponsorship of Gareth Russell’s local Make A Difference mental health project, helping to support an initiative that uses boxing, Muay Thai and fitness to improve mental wellbeing and provide positive opportunities for people across Plymouth.

We are delighted to announce that Gareth has recently been celebrating success in the ring as one of his fighters, Max, claimed victory at the FS11.2 fight series.

Making his K1 debut, Max stepped into the ring after months of hard work and early morning training with Gareth. Despite giving away almost 5kg to his opponent, he produced a determined performance to earn a well-deserved win.

The fight result is another proud moment for Gareth, whose passion for coaching extends from competitive fighters through to the community work he delivers as part of the Make A Difference project. We are looking forward to continuing to support him in all that he does, and are excited to see the next Make A Difference initiatives unfold.
