At Richard Harding Ltd, we are delighted to annoucne that we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. This pledge demonstrates our commitment to supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans, the cadet movement and military families.
As a construction company based in Plymouth, a military city, we understand just how valuable the skills of the armed forces are and know that this community can make a huge impact within the workplace. By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, we are committed to promoting careers within the construction industry for service leavers and supporting career transition opportunities through employment, apprenticeship and training.
Our pledge also includes supporting employees who serve as reservists by encouraging participation and ensuring that reservists are not disadvantaged in their career development. Alongside this, we are committed to supporting military families throuhg flexible working wherever posible.
Beyond employment, Richard Harding Ltd is also committed to fostering a Forces-friendly workplace by raising awareness of the Armed Forces Covenant through our work and supply chain. We actively support Armed Forces charities and community initiatives and recognise the importance of health, safety and wellbeing, particularly for veterans transitioning into civilian employment.
