With a new build development in Newton Abbot recently facing an uncertain future after the original contractor was unable to fulfil the contract, we were delighted to be able to step in to bring the project over the line. 

Working to a tight timeframe so new residents could move into the properties as planned, the Richard Harding Construction team were able to manage all of the remaining works to a high standard. Thanks to our broad expertise, we were able to oversee multiple aspects of the project and provide a complete solution on time.

One of the key elements of the project involved flooring installation throughout the unfinished properties. Our multi-skilled team completed a variety of flooring works across different room types, including wooden flooring, laminate installation and carpet fitting.

We also carried out extensive kitchen and bathroom fitting works, covering the plumbing, electrics, decorating and flooring, alongside the finishing works required to bring the spaces up to the required standards. 

Alongside these internal works, the Richard Harding team was also responsible for a range of external improvements completed professionally across the development. Our carpenters manufactured and installed bespoke gates, while additional works included patio installation, railings and general landscaping and garden tidying.

Due to joining the project at such a late stage, it was critical that we worked efficiently and collaboratively to keep the development progressing smoothly. Our diverse skillset allowed us to coordinate multiple trades and services seamlessly across the site, giving peace of mind that the development was fully completed.
