At Richard Harding Ltd, we’re proud to maintain longstanding relationships with major companies across the South West. One key example of this is our continued work with Samworth Brothers, one of the region’s largest food manufacturers.

Having worked together on a number of projects in the past, Samworth Brothers approached us to carry out a significant office window upgrade at their Cornwall site. The project involved the removal of existing glass panels and the installation of new, high-performance glazing.

With the existing glass panels becoming inefficient over time and limiting natural light, we were focused on delivering a solution that would provide a clear and lasting improvement. We installed 8 new Sunguard solar glazing units, chosen for their ability to reduce solar gain and glare while helping to create a brighter and more comfortable working environment.

Throughout the project, there were a number of challenges we had to overcome due to the location of the windows and the subsequent need to work at height. It was important to us that all necessary work was carried out safely, and adverse weather conditions required us to adjust the schedule but remain mindful of unnecessary disruption. Our team was flexible in completing the work, returning to the site as soon as conditions allowed to complete the solar glazing installation to the right standards.

The new Sunguard glazing has delivered a significant upgrade to the office space at Samworth Brothers, and we are pleased to have once again supported them and delivered a successful project for a valued client.
